Acquire the 9.22 acre Matilija Hot Springs property, located along the north bank of Matilija Creek directly below the dam. The property will be seriously impacted by the dam removal project and is needed as a staging area for that effort. Following removal of the dam, the District intends to dedicate the property for public recreation, habitat and open space.
