This project will survey, map, and control populations of five invasive non-native plants that have been identified as high priority EDRR targets in the San Diego region. ‘Friends organizations’ and other groups will be involved in the identification and control of these species.
This project will conduct wetland and watershed restoration at a coastal marsh and an upland site with a science service-learning model for elementary school students.
This project will restore up to 0.25 acres of eelgrass in summer 2014 in the Upper Newport Bay in Newport Beach, California as a part of an on-going, multi-year community-based project.
The Kendall-Frost Marsh Reserve Community Restoration Action Team will engage San Diego Audubon staff to assist in the recruitment and engangement of a team of volunteers to conduct site-based habitat restoration work, organized as 4-6 volunteer work events.
