Project Overview:

This project restored 3,000 square feet of upland riparian habitat (removal of non-native vegetation and planting of native upland species) along Coyote Creek as it runs through the City of La Habra’s Vista Grande Park. The restoration of streambed in the park was meant to educate and motivate the community about Coyote Creek and potential further restoration.
